Our Approach:

At HPAC, we’re working to build a world where every community comes together to provide every child the opportunity to thrive and embody their limitless potential. To achieve that, we have developed a multigenerational approach that builds skills, instills confidence and empowers children and families, by focusing on three core areas:

  • Early Childhood Education

  • Youth Development and College Readiness

  • Supportive Family Services

Based on our Community-to-Career Pipeline, we focus on addressing the needs of the Hunt’s Point community in a holistic and adaptable manner that leverages the knowledge of parents, families and partner organizations collectively. Serving children and families from birth to college and beyond, our direct service programs have continued to grow in response to community needs. Our 10 evidence-informed programs are led by passionate, local staff with diverse experience and expertise.

Our Impact:

Across the community, HPAC programs continue to provide resources, education, and support to children and their families. From our early childhood programs that strengthen parent-child relationships, communication, language and literacy, to our youth programs that foster school engagement, build academic skills and support students on the journey to college or career, our HPAC families continue to inspire, empower and advance the children and youth of Hunts Point toward a limitless future.
